Innovation in India - Cows or Karma? Dell asks the world for ideas
In 1996 Dell opened up online sales directly to end users. Ever since, they have been one of the standard examples of business model innovation. After eleven years they finally decided to invite their customers in for an online discussion. Ideastorm is a digg.com inspired site where anyone can post their idea on how to improve Dells products and then vote for the most wanted stuff. Let's just hope that Dell can deliver on their promises, anyway we love this initiative and many others are sure to follow.
