Idea Management Success at Tetra Pak

Sweden's main business daily Dagens Industri has written a big story about the success of Tetra Paks creativity and innovation initiative and features the Boss, Sven Andren. This is also a successful case for Idelaboratoriet and our partner Modern Management Network as we helped Sven start this up six years ago and has been part of the major change initiative since then. Just wanted you to know and at the same time pad ourselves on the shoulder a bit for a job well done!

Innovation Circus Findings and Recommendations

The project Innovation Circus - that we created the concept for - has finally landed in Berlin after a tour around Europe. The project presented its findings and recommendations to the EU in Berlin in April and it can all be read at the innovation circus website. Go Europe!

Everybody is doing it! But is it working?

Starbucks has just launched, Cisco is doing it and Dell has been doing it for over a year. I'm talking about the open innovation initiatives where organizations invites the general public to give their ideas and input on how to improve their offerings. The general idea is of course both simple and brilliant but is it working? If you go to the different sites you find that many of the suggestions are pretty good but also really, really obvious. I'm looking forward to reports on this and if its a true source for great ideas or just a way of getting market feedback and some nice PR.

Just back from Iceland (working with our new customer Vestas) on our own world crusade of innovation, we have just been given notice that a new book has been published with a chapter about global innovation written by us. The book is called Global Wanderings and is published by the Stockholm School of Economics and is a journey into different aspects of globalization.
